Celebrating 24 Years of The Floyd Wickman Team
Jan 29, 2026Twenty-four years ago, this company was rebuilt and renamed on something deeper than sales techniques or systems. It was built on Core Values, with intention and purpose.
Our anniversary this year feels especially meaningful. It isn’t a “big” number but it is a turning point in our company’s story.
It’s a moment to reflect with gratitude, to honor the shoulders we stand on, and to move forward with clarity and strength.
The first and most important of Floyd’s Core Values is, To always live by the Get By Giving philosophy. It isn’t a slogan. It is a way of operating. A way of leading. A way of living. Each member of our team and our community lives by these values.
Floyd learned this philosophy from his mother, and he and Mike Pallin founded the company on it. passed it down to this company and community. Over the years, we’ve seen it proven again and again: when you give without expectation, when you lead with generosity, respect, and care for others, success follows and multiplies.
Floyd often shared that his mentor, Zig Ziglar, reminded him that selling skills matter but character matters just as much, because without both, success is short-lived.
Before, during and after Floyd’s retirement, Mike Pallin dedicated his life to these values. His own legacy lives in our systems, our standards, our culture, and in the thousands of agents whose lives and businesses are better because of his leadership. We honor him by continuing this work.
I am incredibly proud of what this organization represents. Proud of our coaches, our leadership team, our clients, and our community. Proud that in an industry that often rewards shortcuts or quick fixes, we have remained committed to integrity, discipline, and generosity.
And we are just getting started.
