The Power Of Attention

Of all the things to pay attention to, whether or not your workspace smells like “Lemon Fresh Pledge,” doesn’t make that big a difference. Look at this picture of Albert Einstein at his desk.


Some of the most productive people in the world are disorganized, or even unorganized.

It is almost a cliché to see the absent-minded professor, the brilliant thinker coming up with brilliance in the midst of clutter and chaos. Clutter and disorganization doesn’t seem to bother some people.

What all consistently productive people have in common is the ability to pay attention to the task at hand. In other words, focus.
